Finally...
I got to read Austenland. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation Jen and Mandy! It was a nice easy read, and it was perfect to pass the time on my first day of NO WORK!! Emily

Hi girls. I finished Spare Change - a quick, easy, feel-good book. I am now reading The Last Lecture. So far I'm quite enjoying it. It is about a professor who finds out at about age 41 that he has pancreatic cancer and this is kind of his memories and bits of wisdom. I'll add it to the list when I finish if I think you should read it. Apparently quite a few people I've talked to really enjoyed it. Steve said one of the girls at work says her family has about 12 copies of it. Mom

Spare Change
I finally read Spare Change. It was a good quick read that passed the afternoon at work. It is good if you are looking for a cute romance. I am excited for my next book though. I have always wanted to read Dan Brown's Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code but could never get through them because I was always so confused as to what artwork or statue or location was being discussed. I have decided to give it one more try only this time I went out and bought the illustrated version so I can follow along better and have an idea of what he is referring to. I'll get back to you and let you know if the pictures and maps helped to make the book a more interesting read!

Austenland
Jen reccommended this book to me a while ago. I read it in 1 day! (it's only 195 pages) So Mal, Tiff, Em, a slow day/eve at work and you could read a book I really enjoyed it. Mandy
